WHY GOLF

Because the Game Reveals Place Differently

Some of the finest experiences are those that become so familiar that we begin to take them for granted.  For us, that might mean deciding over breakfast to drive to Vienna for a concert, or to Venice for coffee and dinner, knowing that before the day is over we may also fit in a memorable round of golf. It might mean calling a course after lunch and securing a late afternoon tee time, with no pressure from crowded fairways and no need to hurry. Living and working in Ljubljana places us at the natural crossroads of this journey. Royal Bled is our home course, and Vienna and Northern Italy are destinations we return to regularly — for golf, for business, and for pleasure.
 
International golf tourism has largely overlooked this part of Europe and this is precisely what allows this experience to remain private, unhurried, and authentic. Again and again, we find ourselves walking extraordinary courses with few golfers around us, free to play at our own pace and fully absorb the atmosphere of the place. That sense of quiet privilege is what inspired Triple Crown Fairways.
 
We created this journey to share a part of Europe we know intimately — and to offer fellow golfers the rare combination of premier golf, cultural depth, and a standard of travel that is both seamless and deeply personal.

WHY GOLF

Because the Game Reveals Place Differently

Triple Crown Fairways was created by Blaž Pesjak and Tamara Štader Pesjak, partners in life, business, and a long-standing passion for golf and travel.

 

Blaž spent much of his professional career leading one of Slovenia’s largest retail companies. As a successful chief executive, he learned the value of discipline, calm decision-making, and strategic thinking under pressure — qualities that also shape his approach to golf. Having taken up the game more than twenty years ago, he appreciates its demand for patience, precision, and clear thought. A former skier and lifelong outdoor enthusiast, he feels most at home in nature.

 

Tamara built her career in public relations, branding, and communications, helping companies and organizations develop compelling stories and distinctive identities. Sport has always played an important role in balancing her entrepreneurial energy, professional ambitions, and family life. Her experience in creating premium brands and memorable customer experiences has been instrumental in shaping Triple Crown Fairways.

 

“More than ten years ago, we made a promise to ourselves: when time allowed, we would share the lesser-known qualities of life in this part of Europe with others who value the same things we do — beauty, culture, thoughtful travel, and the game of golf.

 

That promise gradually took shape through countless personal journeys. A weekend in Vienna for music and dinner. A spontaneous coffee in Venice followed by a late afternoon tee time. Quiet evenings at Royal Bled, our home course, where the light softens over the Julian Alps and the game can be played without hurry or interruption.

 

These experiences convinced us that this part of Europe offers something increasingly rare: world-class golf combined with extraordinary cultural depth, all within a region that remains remarkably accessible and free from the pressures of more established golf destinations.

 

Triple Crown Fairways is our way of sharing this discovery.

 

We have created the journey we always wished existed — one that brings together exceptional golf, meaningful travel, and the quiet pleasure of experiencing Europe at its most refined.

The journey is built from places we trust and not from a map. Each stop has been selected for a reason; a course we belive is worth playing more than once, a city that still holds its charcter after many a visit, a landscape that changes the pace of the journey. Every place and every experience has been tested, adjusted and returned to many a time. The result is the passage that combines premier high level golf with a part of Europe that remanins balanced, accessible, and in many ways, still a bit hidden.
